I joined Clixo (then Toyish) as a founding employee to develop a modular robotic system for kids where sensing and actuation could be composed through physical connections rather than programming. Early on, we realized that the system we had developed even without the added complexity of electronics was impactful and rich enough that we decided to launch with that as a product. Over 7+ years, I led its development from an open-ended prototype into a globally distributed product, now sold in 30+ countries, nationwide in Target, and recognized by TIME Best Inventions of 2025. My work has spanned inventing the core system, developing it for manufacturing and assembly at scale, and leading teams across design and R&D, while maintaining a consistent interaction logic across a growing product line ( over 60 SKUS).
